ANF Therapy

Disclaimer: Manchester-Bedford Myoskeletal LLC does not offer ANF Therapy due to the variability of results experienced by the patients who undertook the process. We leave the page up on the Learning Shelf for casual information known at this time (2019), but we will not seek to keep the information updated. This page may be taken down at any time.

ANF Therapy
“When Nothing Else Helps…”

Amino Neuro Frequency or ANF Therapy is purported to be a conservative therapy for pain and inflammation at the cellular level without the use of drugs, chemicals, medications, or invasive procedures. Chronic inflammation is becoming increasingly implicated as a common underlying cause of major degenerative pain problems, infectious and non-infectious disease, cancers, autoimmune disorders, and health concerns in general.

What Is ANF Therapy

ANF Therapy is said to normalize and optimize body functions and systems. The ANF practitioner assesses the patient’s nerve, lymph, and muscle systems, and skeletal joints in order to prepare a treatment plan on the spot which he’ll discuss with his patient. Then, using general protocols, your practitioner chooses and applies a number of ANF Therapy discs to the skin. A vast majority of patients notice significant pain reduction soon after application of the ANF Therapy discs.

There are four phases of the treatment plan: Initial, In-depth, Regeneration, and Maintenance. Patients will return on a regular basis for two weeks to six months, depending on how well the body adapts to any changes which take place and complication of the individual patient’s health.

Who Practices ANF Therapy?

In 2019, there were practitioners in 26 countries. Practitioners are licensed health professionals (MD, DO, DC, PT, OT, LMT, ATC, and others) acting within their scope of practice. All practitioners attend ANF courses to attain knowledge and expertise in use of the Therapy. Anyone who has not completed the required coursework is unable to acquire or place ANF Therapy medical devices on patients in their practice. Certification for practitioners is issued by Amino Healthcare SL, Denmark.

How About Those ANF Discs?

Theory: There are more than 180 different discs, each with their own unique function and frequency. The most efficient disc types, combinations, and location of application depend on the presentation and assessment of each individual patient. Skin-friendly antibacterial 3M tape on the back of the disc adheres to the body. Body heat activates the frequency stored in each carbonized metal disc. Emission of disc frequencies amplify equivalent frequencies inherent in the body, thereby normalizing and strengthening body function.

Please note: With very few exceptions, nearly all forms of alternative therapies, including ANF Therapy, have from moderate to no quality scientific evidence from medical research in the United States. All indications of theory, health conditions, reported success, reported claims, rate of improvement, patient percentages, etc. on this page are rendered by subjective evidence or are derived from published media sources of ANF Healthcare SL in Denmark.

ANF Therapy discs are said to be FDA licensed and registered as wearable ANF Therapymedical devices. They are thin discs (about the same thickness as a bandaid-type adhesive strip) approximately 1-1/4 inches in diameter (see image). They are said not to contain organic substances, nor do they release any drug or chemical substances.

Who Can Undergo ANF Therapy?

Humans of any age and level of health are acceptable candidates. There are no known contraindications to the use of ANF Therapy discs, even in persons with medical implants, metal or metal alloy structures/fastenings. However, there are restrictions of use which are discussed with the patient before their assessment visit. Some practitioners count horses, dogs, and other animals among their ANF patients.

ANF literature reports that there is no evidence that discs compromise the effectiveness of any prescribed medication. Prospective ANF Therapy patients should not make any changes in their prescription medication while planning on or undergoing ANF Therapy unless directed to do so by their physician.

Expectations From Treatment

Effectiveness of ANF Therapy may be slower while taking medication since many pharmaceuticals work by directly altering normal cellular-level function in the body.

ANF Healthcare in Denmark, the founder of ANF Therapy, reports that about 95% of patients are receptive to the therapy. For those who are, their body typically responds within 5 to 20 minutes from application of the discs. Patients routinely experience one or more metabolic change (considered detoxification) symptoms: headache, fatigue, dry mouth, general discomfort, dizziness, runny nose, light flu symptoms, change in skin tone, bloating, itching, chills, mild sweating, etc. However, these are reported to be a positive sign that your body is responding to therapy. Some people recognize no detox symptoms at all. Symptoms can last from a few minutes to two days.

Patients experience less discomfort, less pain, and greater sense of well-being as their health concerns fade. It is said that the detox process is important for the body to function properly again. Removing the discs will interrupt the process. Remove discs if symptoms cause too much discomfort and call the practitioner.

Those undergoing ANF Therapy are advised to keep hydrated by drinking sufficient amounts of water that urine appears clear or very pale yellow. It is reported to be the experience of well-versed practitioners and patients that the more closely this advice is followed, the fewer detox symptoms you will have and the sooner symptoms fade.
